Seema's true passion? Food!

Nothing inspires Seema more than the vibrant and diverse flavors of India. While she can skillfully whip up global recipes, her heart truly belongs to the rich Indian culinary heritage. Each fragrant spice blend, every regional specialty, sparks cherished memories of her childhood.

Seema's Inspirational Backstory

Seema inherited her perpetually optimistic attitude and work ethics from her parents, whose own stories are truly inspiring.

Her father, Dr. Anant Bhadri, was a respected medical doctor in India for over 40 years. He tirelessly provided healthcare to underserved rural communities, establishing a hospital where people traveled great distances seeking his care. His selfless philanthropy earned him immense admiration. This inspires Hello Cinnamon's commitment to Community Impact.

Seema's father loved photography, taking amazing black and white photos of nature and family with an old camera. Seema inherited his artistic eye and love for photography, along with his cherished photo album.

Seema's mother, Sudha Bhadri, was the glue holding her family together during her husband’s long hours. Sudha found joy in cooking, spending any free time experimenting in the kitchen. She passed her culinary talents and love of food to Seema.

Their humble kitchen first had a wood-burning stove, which challenged Sudha’s urban upbringing. Through determination she became highly skilled with it. Eventually, it was upgraded to a cooktop burner connected to a gas cylinder and a small box oven that occasionally sat atop the cooktop.

Despite limited tools and local ingredients, Sudha’s dishes were extraordinary. Visiting friends and family never left their home hungry.

Seema Today

For the past 39 years, Seema has called the San Francisco Bay Area home. She lives there happily with her beloved husband, and is extremely proud of her son and daughter-in-law.

The aromas wafting from her mother's kitchen were the first to awaken Seema's love affair with Indian gastronomy. Today, Seema pays homage to her mother's legacy by meticulously recreating those cherished tastes of home. However, her passion doesn't stop at tradition - she continuously pushes boundaries by fusing nostalgic Indian flavors with innovative global influences, crafting imaginative Indian fusion dishes that are as creative as they are deeply personal.
